Very saddened to learn of the death of Sr Martina. She was a kind and caring person and a wonderful teacher. I will always be grateful to her for her support and encouragement. May she rest in peace.

Thanks Sr Martina. Many years ago you helped me find out more about my genealogy- especially telling me more about my great-aunt, Bridget Riordan, (daughter of Mary Burke) who was also a sister in your order. Thank you for the generosity of the time you gave me- it has never been forgotten. RIP.

BURKE, Mary. (Sister Martina R.N.D.M.) Dearly loved daughter of the late Martin and Anastasia Burke, and loved sister and sister in law of the late David and Jane Burke, and the late Tom and Colette Burke. Loved Aunty Mary of Leonard and Helen, Cecilia and Peter, Maureen and Glenn, Pauline and Martien, Mary Jane and Matt, Philip and Cass, and special Aunty to all her great, and great-great nieces and nephews. A much loved cousin to her family here in New Zealand and abroad. She will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace
