Marty McGee Obituary

Marty A. McGee, age 55, of Hebron, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on August 30, 1965 to Wendell and Mary McGee. Marty was a talented artist that valued his various collections.  He was a cat lover and made sure the neighborhood cats were fed and cared for.


Marty is survived by his wife and best friend, Charmaine McGee; mother, Mary McGee; children, Amanda Gaw and Joshua (Jennifer Ann) McGee; 2 stepsons, John and Jason Sawa; grandchildren, Cambria Gaw and Isabella Gunter; brother, Michael McGee; nieces, Stephanie, Tanya and Amber; great nephew, Landon.


He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell McGee; and cat, Pumpkin.


Private services for Marty were entrusted to Rees Funeral Homes, Winfield Chapel.

I remember when Marty came to work for the schools here. He always had a way to tell a story and to make you laugh. His artistic talents was AWESOME. It was a honor to know him and to be able to call him a true friend and he would be the first to help you if you needed him.. He will be truly missed and loved.
