Summers at Nanny and Papas were my favourite. They always made me feel so happy and special. I loved my Nanny so much and will miss her forever but I´ll never forget all the amazing memories she blessed us with.

It breaks my heart that my Mom is no longer on this earth plane but I am so happy to know that she is reunited with my Dad who absolutely adored her. I have so many family memories created over the years with me as a kid and teenager, especially going on our summer vacations, and Sunday drives, and Mom suntanning in the back yard while we played.
Mom and Dad loved my kids completely. Baaron was the first grandchild and Mom came out to Toronto where she was born right away. By the time our second daughter Ariel was born we were back in Calgary. My kids always visited their grandparents every year up until they were in their late teens, despite us moving to BC over 32 years ago. We all have so many memories of being at the Zoo or Heritage Park together.
And I visited often, especially over the last few years when Mom was at Manor Village. I´m especially grateful that despite my mother´s dementia she always remembered who I was both on the phone and on the many trips to visit her over the last few years. I couldn´t even count how many times we told each other how much we missed and loved each other, even on her last day. She also would say how much she loved my beautiful daughters despite not being able to see them lately due to us all living in different places. These last few years I created treasured memories of being with my Mom and sister and going on drives and holding her hand while we all went out. I´m terribly grateful for the immense amount of time and almost daily care my sister Michele LaDuke provided for Mom as her primary caregiver. Mom I loved you and you´ll be forever in my heart.

I have such fond memories of cousin Marvel. Lots of BBQ's and family gatherings at my grandmas house, her Aunt Emily. She was a beautiful human inside and out.

RIP Nanny. Love you and miss you greatly. I´ll never forget the frog room, and the many brunches followed by fun and games. I´m happy you´re finally together with papa again. My favourite memories will be monthly zoo trips or that you and papa were the "team" grandparents never missing a baseball or hockey game. Rest in peace Nanny.

I remember the first time Kim took me to her family home and I met Marvel...she wanted to make sure that I wasn´t hungry...loved her right there on sight!
