He was the best person I have ever worked for in my life. I admired him greatly and have missed him ever since I left working for him at Masolon Edelman Borman and Brand.

Looking up friends and comrades from long ago (Shortridge High School)I caught up with the wonderful life of a boy I knew in Latin classes as brilliant, modest, hardest working of the class. It is great to learn of his fulfilled life! So sorry for your loss.
I had always wondered about his story.

Mr Borman, growing up next door to you and the Borman family were one the best memories of my childhood. It was a wonderous time growing up on Lake Minnetonka at that time, and my fondest memories are looking out and seeing my dad and you out on your docks with your cane fishing poles fishing for sunnies or crappies. Both you and my father were two very respected and kind men and I knew that as a young girl. I also remember bringing my daughter to visit the "white house" one day years ago, and there you were out on the dock again. We walked right up and you were so happy to see me and meet my daughter, so gracious. You have many accolades which I respect very much, but the neighbor who jumped in the water once when I fell off your dock and the one who waved and greeted me whenever I came over to play...is the man I remember. My deepest condolences to your family. Betsy Larson

It was a great pleasure of mine to have known and worked with Marv for the last several years. He was diligent about continuing his fitness regimen. I'm just sorry I didn't get a chance to see him this year. My condolences to Betty and family.

I worked at Maslon Kaplan for several years in the mid-70s. Marvin was witty, urbane and generous with his praise. A real gentleman. Jan Kirk

Our heartfelt condolences to Marvin's family...we're so sorry to hear of his passing. Marvin was our family estate and tax attorney for years and always took very wonderful care of us in that way; he was also a great friend to my (Jen's) parents, Dan and Suzanne Cooperman. Marvin was a true mensch in every sense of that word. May his memory always be a blessing.

Betty and Tom,

We are so saddened to hear of Marvin's passing. He was a valued colleague to both of us and a wonderful mentor to Marcy. We heard of his passing from Jim Toscano, who worked on non-profit issues with Marvin for years, today. He was a remarkable man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
