Marvin BROWN Obituary
departed this life suddenly on October 29, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Shanita W. Brown; daughters, Shontazia, Shateka' and
Shanijah; one son, Marvin D. Jr.; granddaughter, Ni'Ajah T. Jones; parents, William and Arlene Brown; three sisters, three brothers, four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, father and mother-in-law, James Sr. and Glennis Wyatt; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City. On Saturday at 12 p.m., Mr. Brown will rest at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Rev. F. Wayne Henley officiating. Eulogy by William Gibson III.
Interment church cemetery.

I did not know this young man but am just hearing about his death. I am so sorry.

It has been 7 months now and you are still missed "big head"! We know that you are chilln amoung the angels, so all is good! Shaun, Tae, Teka, Book, A, and Ni will be okay, family is around to keep them and their spirits up:-).

Hey dad we waz talkn bout u today... wen we got on the dominator at kdz we all had fun dat day n tricked mario to getn on a roller coaster cuz he waz scared.. yo 1st grand daughter getn growner by the day she taken stepz now n I taught her to say papa and she blows a kiss at u.. mario talk bout u all da time y'all was like bestfriends u and him pose to took me and mama out to dinner but he said dnt worry he will handle dat for u.. ill write soon we love and miss u :( :'(

This doesn't feel real. Were just officially became family when your brother Carlton Brown(Unc) and my Auntie Nell Nell got married this year. We were in wedding together and partying it up at the reception. Even before the wedding we shared so many family oriented moments that will never be forgotten. What I will always remember about you is the smile you always had on ur face. You will be missed in the physical, but ur smile, laughter, and the joy you brought to so many peoples lives with your presence remains.

Shawn and Marvin shared over 20 plus years of love and I was happy to share that with them as I walked in their wedding. He was a great person and will be missed, just remember memories last forever!
