Charlotte, Kelvin, Terrence, Mark Jr., NeNe
Each and every day I think about you and I ask God's blessing for you. It's been difficult to close our eyes without a tear and our hearts are very heavy at this time. Marvin and I had a very special bond and we always will, so please know that we are here for you guys just as he was.
Love,
Aunt Tennie

On behave of the entire Gedward family I would like to take this opportunity to express heartfelt sympathy to the entire family of Marvin "Mark" Hypolite. We have known Mark all our lives not only as a cousin but with strong beleifs that he was truly an angel unaware amongst us. His gentle smile and quiet perserverance are what made him one of God's earthly angels. Grief is not problem we need to solve... it's just a process we all must go through at our own pace and on our own terms. We are greiving with you as well. Remember your angel Mark through rituals, words and thoughts. He has gone to prepare a place for us! All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God abundantly bless each and everyone you now and always.

Dear Wife, Mother, Children, Sisters and Brothers and Granddaughter of Marvin "Mark" Hypolite,
During this difficult time try to remember this prayer:
Dear God, as I begin each day let me turn my thoughts to you and ask your help in guiding me in everything I say and do. Give me the patience I need to keep my peace of mind and with life's cares, I hope dear God some happiness to find. Let me live for today not worrying what's ahead for I have trust that you will see I get my daily bread. Give me the courage to face life's trials and not from troubles run, let me keep this thought in my mind thy will not mine will be done! And if some wish I do not get though I have prayed to thee, help me to beleive and understand you know what's best for me. I've failed you so many times I know but tonight when I rest I hope I can kneel and say dear God I've tried my best!.....
Growing up and playing with the Hypolite chilren especially Mark, Zach and Kernis in Saint Martinville, Louisiana are memories I will forever cherish. We had such fun times. The innocence of childhood and the closeness of family are the things rooted in my soul. Stay close to one another and know that Jesus and Mark have their arms wrapped around each and every one of you!

Louise and Family,
Marvin was my boss for about 5 years. I soon found out that you were his "Little Sister." I have thought of you and your boys often in these past years. I know that you have a lovely young daughter also. You were always such a joy to work with! I asked Marvin about you often.
Marvin was my boss shortly after I thought I might be unemployed. By the grace of God and Marvin, I am still working.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Betty
