Dear Mildred, Marilyn, Marc,
As I read through the posts, my childhood comes back to me. I see Ellen Weiss's name, and my sister's name, Marianne. So many years on Elkington Lane, so many memories. Yes, Marvin was my dentist, but more Marvin was just part of our family growing up. I was sorry to learn of your loss.

Dear Mildred, Marc, Marilyn and family,
I'm so saddened to learn you lost your dear Marvin, the kindest and funniest grownup neighbor a little girl could hope to have. I so loved it when he laughed, because he seemed to enjoy it so much. His eyes always smiled, and he made even a very young little girl feel like what she said mattered, despite her very tender years. On top of that, he was a great dentist. We were lucky to have such a wonderful Elkington Lane family, but it hurts to say "goodbye." I hope you soon can find peace through beautiful memories.
Love,
Melisse Reichman

I have the very most loving feelings toward Marvin. Unlike most people I know, I looked forward to going to the dentist because it meant I would be spending time with Marvin. He had the most gentle, loving, genuine, personable, interested, sensitive, insightful, fun-loving way about him. Also, it was always fun to hear about our family from Marvin, as he served as a hub for us all. He will always remain a warm, bright light in my heart, as I know he is in yours. My condolences to you.

Dear Mrs. Wallace, Marc and Marilyn, Your husband and father was, a sort of father to me through his kindness. The support I received through your wonderful family helped me in countless ways those many decades ago. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Sending prayers and love to the family...

Dear Marc and family,
I was sad to read about your wonderful Dads passing. He was my Doctor for some years before I became your patient. To say that he was gentle, kind, and patient was the absolute truth. And his manner has been passed down to you, which shows what a great parent he must have been. Thank you for his service to our country, too.
Sincerely, Sara Pappas McKinley
