Marvy and his co-star Elaine gave us all many beautiful memories, and I provide a few pictures to capture some of those times. I join many others in appreciation for all of the generosity and hard work Marvy contributed to our community and those who needed a helping hand. I loved knowing him and have never met anyone with more integrity and business savvy. My love and warmest condolences to Elaine, Jill and Edward.

Marvy, we met through my close friendship with Elaine over three decades ago. You were a source of incredible energy, life and knowledge.
My time working for you in the late 90’s at your Aventura, FL project was a wonderful experience for me.
You will always be an inspiration to me as a boss and you will always be “Simply Marvelous” as a friend.

Marvy personally promoted me from Manager at Village on the Lake to his supervisor. I remember it well. He drove the property and came to the office and said "Let's take a walk". During that walk he told me that every time he drove my property he was impressed with how I took care of it and he wanted me to be a supervisor for him. I'm so grateful to him for that vote of confidence. I've been a VP now for 10 years and I always credit my time with him. I'm so sorry for your loss. It is a loss for all who knew him. I'm eternally grateful to you Marvy. Sincerely, Darlene Donovan

My condolences to the family, l am thankful for the opportunity that Mr. Fingers gave me to work at the Yorktown Creole Apts, for 28 years. My father also work there and knew Mr Fingers well, the late Roosevelt Johnson. Praying for his son Edward and the Fingers family. May God comfort you in your loss.

When I was very young I worked with Marvy many years ago when we first met he grilled me because he had no idea who I was or the company I was representing. It came down to trust so I gave him my Mothers phone number and told him that she could vouch for me
He called her and they struck up a great conversation about who they both knew and how my parents knew somebody he knew! He wrote a big check signed our contract and we were friends!
He was a real good man! Houston is a better city because he always kept his property´s beautiful

In loving memory to Mr. Finger, never in 100 years that this day would ever come. You will be sorely missed! Thank you for your trust and given me the golden opportunity to work for you. You are the true pioneer in the multi-family homes in the great city of Houston! The Starship band from the 80s is always my constant reminder of you, " We built this city, We built this city on rock and roll." You are my rock star! 63 years of unbelievable journey! Thank you!
