Mary Ann C Reedy

Mary Ann (Olson) Reedy, 87, passed away September 4, 2024 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Mary Ann was born in Devils Lake, ND on February 19, 1937 to Roger Olson and Ragna (Heffta) Olson who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jeremiah Reedy, three sons, Jeffrey (Debra), David (April) and Michael (Janice), five grandchildren and a favorite cousin, Allen I. Olson.

In 1955, Mary Ann graduated from Fargo Central High School and married Tom Roel 1956. They lived and raised their sons in Fargo until moving to Moorhead, MN in 1970. Mary Ann was an accomplished artist, an avid equestrian and a lifelong animal lover; she raised and showed Dachshunds for many years. Later in life, she graduated from Moorhead State University, moved to the Twin Cities and worked as a paralegal. In 1994, she married Jeremiah Reedy. She illustrated several of Jeremiah's books and together they traveled to many places around the world.
