When I was a child Mary and Luigi Antonini lived at the end of the street where I lived. I spent time with Louise and my sisters played with Victoria. Their youngest child, Russell was born the same year I had my first child who was also called Russell. The last time I saw them Mary and Luigi played a duet on the piano because I believe Luigi had a stroke and could only play with one hand. I loved being at their house. They were most kind to my family. I remember one instance where I wanted to go to Girl Guide Camp. The cost was ten dollars. We didn't have the money but I thought if I could sell some books I could go. Louise and I went around to different book places but had no success. Later that evening after supper Louise came to my house. She said she had taken the books to a seller and sold them for ten dollars. I was so excited. It was many years later I realized that Mary and Luigi had given her the ten dollars for me. What I remember most about Mary was her laugh her smile and how much she loved Luigi and her family. I was doing research and discovered Mary's obituary. I now go by the name of Meah Martin.
