Mary Baker Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 28, 2008.
HYANNIS — Mary "Penie" Baker, 76, of Hyannis died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, with her family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Baker.

Mary was born in Kingston on Sept. 6, 1932, the daughter of Otto and Blanche Borghesani. Mary was a fun, spirited, easygoing woman who wasn't afraid to be different or speak her mind. She was always making people laugh and making the most out of everything she did. She had a few true passions, her family and bingo. If there was a game of bingo, you could count on finding her there.

Mary leaves behind her only child, Robert Leonardi Jr. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Robert Leonardi III and Mary Leonardi, and many great grandchildren. She was the sister of Alton Borghesani and Claire Govoni. She loved her family very much and her two cats.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. at Oak Neck Cemetery, Hyannis.
