Mary was a nice woman who I have had the pleasure of knowing over many years. Mary would always help Joan and me with the Aruba junkets. I have many found memories of Mary from the beaches of Aruba.

Joe & Family, There are no words that I can express to tell you how I feel. So many memories filled my mind today, from grade school through high school and when you both were Sweethearts. I am so happy I was able to spend time with Mary at our Reunion and many lunches we shared with our classmates. I only wish now we had more time. I loved Mary and I love you Joe. Maureen

How can I put into words the heartache I feel . Mary was a second Mother to me. Some of the best times of my life were spent with Mary and Joe , weather it was our nights at Marshall's(and there were many),our trips to Atalntic City or Las Vegas or just sitting in their house watching some Pittsburgh sporting Event or playing Cards. She had the kindest heart and her smile lit up the room, my heart is truly broken.. Rest Easy Miss America - I will love you Forever!

How do I begin to express my feelings about Mary's passing. We have been friends for 47 years! She move d to Fernhill as a young mom. Fernhill was so full of life back then! My mom, Cappy, Julie and Mary. Running all over the street to each others houses with cups of coffee in their hands! All of their kids were best friends. Then we enjoyed Vegas and Atlantic City trips together. Socials at Loreto and many, many conversations!! I will miss you my dear friend. But the ole Fernhill gang Is back together again!! Have fun! I love you! Rosemarie

So sorry to hear about Mary's passing. My condolences to Joe and the rest of the family. I will always remember how much fun she made being a neighbor on Fernhill Ave. When I was a kid playing baseball in front of her and Joe's house, she had me pay for the basement window I broke throwing a baseball. I never forgot how gracious she was in teaching me to take responsibility for my actions. She will be missed. God bless.

Mr.Barker, Rose, Joe, Jim, John, and Dan...I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. I spent quite a bit of my childhood at your house playing ball, swimming, cooking out, watching Steeler games, playing cards or playing horseshoes. When I heard the news, all of those great memories came back in and instant, and reminded me of how much fun I had during those years with your family. Your mom was always extremely kind and welcoming to me, and to all of the kids in the neighborhood. She will be deeply missed. Take care and God Bless.
