To Mary Lynn's Family
I just learned of this tragic news at dinner this evening from a college classmate of ours and am absolutely devastated. Mary Lynn was in my Pi Beta Phi pledge class and was truly one of my favorite people. We had lost touch, but over the years would occasionally run into one another and always planned to get together. Sadly we did not, and I missed not having this wonderful, genuine friend in my life. I have not seen you girls since you were very small, but do remember how she loved you all. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I had known in time to attend her service. Her beautiful picture makes me laugh and cry - remembering our fun freshman year together at ASU, and then regret over good intentions not acted upon by me in keeping in touch. My love and prayers go out to all of you.

Dear family and friends. I was shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news. ML and I worked closely together for a number of years and I will never forget her beautiful smile. We shared laughter and tears - I will forever treasure her friendship. Rest in peace dear friend. Gail Becker

I was deeply shocked and extremely saddened when alerted to this tragic news. ML was the most beautiful person I shared part of my life with, and no matter what, there was and still is, a special place in my heart for such a special person. Her children were always her top priority and they shared with her "unconditional love"
To Jane, Laura and Annie always remember your mom for the wonderful and beautiful person that she was. The grief will be great and difficult to set aside. To all her family and friends remember ML for who and what she was - That wonderful person. ML you will always be in my prayers and may you rest in peace forever.

“mlb” She will not be forgotten. I had the privilege of working with Mary Lynn at JH&C. She was the Queen of Bankruptcy Court policies and procedures, and for the longest, it seemed no one could function without her assistance. Even when not asked, she was the first to jump in and help get the job done. And her assistance extended way beyond policies and procedures. She was helpful, personally and professionally, to everyone. Not a day would pass without her sharing a smile and giving a compliment. She constantly spoke of her children and grandchildren. They truly were her life, her greatest gifts. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My sincere love to you all.

Mary Lynn's daughters do not know me. I lived next door to your mom when growing up on Arcadia Lane. I will always remember your mom as a warm and kind person. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Mary Lynn was our neighbor for the past several years and we could not have asked for a more kind and giving person. She was a great mother and grandmother and cherished her time with her family. She will be truly missed by our family.

Jane Emma, Laura and Annie, your mom was one of the most warm and genuine and loving and thoughtful and fun women I've ever known. She loved her girls in such an inspiring and obvious way, and for her welcoming home and always words of support and advice I will always be grateful.

It is seldom that I am at a loss for words. Losing my little buddy is such a shock I can’t find words to describe it. I read what other friends say and I have to agree, and then some. What are Annie, Laura and Jane going to do without her? What am I going to do without her? Mary Lynn would put on her big girl panties and deal with it. That’s what she would tell me to do. ML’s advice and friendship was always a phone call away. We would meet and solve all the world’s problems. Like her other friends wrote, we would laugh until we cried and then our mascara would run and we would laugh about that, too.
Mary Lynn’s friends and kids (self included) may be feeling guilt about things we wish we could have said or done or how we could have prevented this. The truth is beyond our control. The truth is that it was her time, she is at rest with her Mother, and we miss her. My love and prayers to you, Mary Lynn, and with your family. I’ll miss you always.

Annie, Laura, and Jane- Your mother was a beautiful person inside and out! She was always so welcoming whenever I came over or always so loving when she would drop Annie off at my house! Annie, I will never forget that you and your mom were over at our house when we found out my aunt in Syracuse was pregnant with my cousin Breanne. I love you all so much! If you girls need anything at all, please don't hesitate to let me or my parents know!

Mary Lynn's family will not know me, but I worked with her at Mariscal, Weeks. She, Mary Garrett and I lunched together many times and became friends. I will never forget her smile and quiet personality. She was a typical Southern Lady, and I will miss her. My sympathy goes out to the family and I share in your loss.

From the day Mary Lynn introduced herself to me in the lobby on our first day of work at JHC, I knew I had met one of my very best friends - and I know I was the lucky one. I will cherish the bond we had forever. I will always remember the times that we laughed so hard and long at the most ridiculously silly things, there were tears streaming down our faces & we could hardly catch our breath. The devotion and love she had for her girls and grandbabies was like no other. She was so proud of them. I was so blessed to have Mary Lynn in my life. May she be dancing with the angels in heaven for eternity.
