I was one of her students in 1979. I still remember her words of wisdom in our weekly meetings. She was the real deal for helping us all. Thank you. I´m now 75 yo and still think of her. Thank you.

Mary was not only smart; but extremely talented. When I first started working at Winnebago; Mary wrote and directed Christmas plays for the staff Christmas Tea. Every year, she wrote a play, based on events of the past year. Many staff participated as actors. It was delightful and everyone looked forward to it every year. At the end, she received a bouquet of roses. It was one of the best memories I have of the hospital, thanks to her. Mary Kotschi, Oshkosh, WI

I feel so blessed that my family and I had the honor to be her neighbor. I have never met someone so loving, caring and young at heart. Her Best Friend Morgan will miss all the milk and cookies that spoiled her dinner.

Mary and I shared a love of music and dance. She was a joy and will be greatly missed.

Mary continues to be an inspiration for me. She was bigger than life, always joyful, informed, and never at a loss for words. She was a classic Auntie Mame. Whenever she was in the room, she pulled you in like a magnet, for she was so full of life, you wanted to be part of joy she shared. I will truly miss her but take comfort that Nicholas (from Singapore) and I had a wonderful goodbye chat with her two days before she left us. May you rest in peace Apelita Parasol. I am so sorry to hear that Mary passed away! What a wonderful lady she was! I enjoyed working with her and loved her company after work. She will truly be missed by me and everyone else who knew her.
