Dear Beagles Family,

I met some of you at the last Cathedral Women's Club Ice Cream Social and Mary Anne was among you. Upon meeting her that first time I thought to myself, "Angel". There was just something about her. Then I found out she went to grade school with my father, Ralph Bucci -- small world! How blessed you all have been to have her as part of your lives for so long. Prayers to all for strength and peace.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. May all your good memories soon replace the feelings of loss and sorrow felt now.

Words cannot express the depths of my sadness to learn of Mary Anne's death. Howard, you and Mary Anne were like extended family to me growing up. You joined with a community of others to keep a watchful eye on Rosie's son and Mary's grandson. While I'm deeply saddened that Mary Anne has left this world, there is comfort knowing that she was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by another Irish lass ready for another card game with an old friend. Howard, you, your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Beagles, Gerry and Dave-- Wow! A lot of loss this year. I am so sorry for the loss of your wife and your mom. When I think of her, memories from childhood come forward.Mostly I remember a smiling, benevolent presnce over on 7th St. as the Beagles, Bundy, Clark and Greenwald gangs ran around the neighborhood. She was much more to all of you. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and that I am thankful that God put her with you for this long. Thanks for keeping in touch with our family in our difficult losses. Now it is time to support you. Peace to you in this difficult time that may not become easier as the months and years pass. Alas, that is what being a human is about. Know that you are not alone in your loss. Many who care for you and God's Spirit are with you too.

My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mary Anne was a lady of charm who could bring a smile to the face of anyone she met, as she did when I met her years ago. I know from my own experience this is one of the most difficult of losses in one's entire life. Being a very spiritual woman with her strong faith and belief in God, know she is in His loving arms watching over you all. May she rest in peace.
