You were respected by your principal who was my husband, Gene Casaleggio. May you both rest in peace knowing your lives were spent as gifted educators and people of substance.

What fun and lively discussions we had a Dogwood. She was a force of nature and broadened my way of viewing the world in which we lived. Never a dull moment with dear Mary. Her smile and big heart lit up our lives.

Mary Bergman left very large footprints. She loved life and helped you to brighten the corner where you were in life. She loves books and taught her students, You Learn to Read and then You Read to Learn. Mary encouraged dialogue and conversation to gain better understandings of living in a Democracy. She engaged all in healthy discussion that would lead to civility in all ways of life.
