Mary J. Bishop

Mary J. Bishop passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born in the Bronx to parents Umberto and Anna Porcaro, with older brothers Arthur and Carmine, and one older sister, Rose. She graduated from City College, and earned her MBA from Columbia in 1953. Mary worked at Met Life until starting a family in 1968. She was a member of the Scarsdale Women's Club, and a long-time resident of Scarsdale and White Plains. She is survived by her sons, Chris and Stuart Bishop, and grandchildren Emmett and Arlo. A memorial service will be held at St. James the Less at a later date.
