Mary Jeanette (Steele) Brown, 86, a resident of Hinsdale NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the comfort of her own home.

She was born on November 11, 1937, to the late Geogeanna (Rizor) and Lloyd Steele in Hookstown, PA. She was educated at Hookstown High School.

On January 13, 1956, Mary exchanged vows with the love of her life, Curtis Frank Brown Sr. They had a simple service in Newell, West Virginia with their family and friends celebrating them, they were married 52 years before Curtis predeceased her in 2009.

Mary was a partner with her husband in training racehorses at the Waterford Park Racetrack. She also owned a car dealership down in Land O' Lakes, Florida, and was a notary as well.

Mary loved antiquing, sewing, arts and crafts, spending time with her loving family, traveling, and she also adored horses.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons, Curtis Brown Jr. and his wife Debora of MA, James Brown of Farmington, NY, and Michael Brown of Greenfield, MA, her sister, Marge Skeens of Irondale OH, her niece, Debbie Skeens of Wellsville OH, her grandchild Sophia Zengel and her husband Erik, and her great grandchildren, Kinsley Phoenix and Remy Zengel, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Curtis Frank Brown Sr.,
