Mary Bubolz Obituary
Mary grew up in Gillett, graduating from Gillett High School in 1954. Upon graduation she attended cosmetology school and worked as a hair stylist for many years. She also had an over 20 year career as an Administrative Assistant, mostly with Kimberly-Clark.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry Bubolz, on December 29, 1956. Mary and Jerry relocated to Neenah where they raised their two daughters and lived for 40 years. Upon retirement, they relocated to Sun Lakes, AZ, followed by Lake in the Hills, IL and Fresno, CA.
Mary was an avid gardener, seamstress, reader and baker. Her Christmas cookies were legendary! She spent countless hours supporting her four grandchildren in their respective sports; Gram was one of their biggest cheerleaders.
Mary is survived by her daughters Terri (Murray) Meyer, Kathy (Keith) DeLaere, her grandchildren Mallory Meyer (Eric Moffitt), Lindsey (Erik) Davis, Colin (Natalie) DeLaere and Cameron (Hayden) DeLaere and her great-grandchildren, Palmer and Hudson DeLaere. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jerry, her parents, and her siblings, Robert Woodke, Nancy Zinzer, William Woodke, Jane Krause, and Julie Woodke.
Per Mary's wishes, no services will be held. Her family is grateful to The Grove Senior Living and Hinds Hospice for their compassionate care of Mary.
