Mary Tina 'Mele' Feary Cardell Age 78, of Waianae, Hawaii died September 2, 2007. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Employed as a Cashier for the Army/Air Force Exchange in Hawaii and on themainland for several years, she retired as a custodian from Leeward Community College. She was anaccomplished flower arranger with Sugetsu Ikebana Hawaii, and an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Waianae. Survived by husband, David Cardell; son, Lesmond Au; daughter, Bertina 'Tina' Au; brother, James Isaac Feary of Honolulu; sister, Doris Iwalani Nosaka of Hilo;and 4 grandchildren, Leslie Abrigo of California,Gabriel, Leah, and Jenna Au of Honolulu. Visitation at 9:00 am to 10:45 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am on Friday, September 28, 2007, at Sacred Heart Church in Waianae, located at 85-786 Old Government Road. Burial service 2:00 pm at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. No Flowers, Casual Attire. Updated on 09/23/2007.
