My thought are with you Cheryl, Deb and families. I remember spending many Christmas dinners at Mary's as a child. I also hold fond memories of camping with Mary and the rest of the family. I could always tell when Mary phoned our house as Carman would be on the phone with her for hours. What great times and memories we shared.

I worked with Mary for several years at Mayland Heights School, where I was principal and she was assistant principal and Grade 3 teacher. I have fond memories of Mary as a wonderful person, and an excellent colleague and educator. My sincere condolences to the family.

I will always remember playing bridge with Mary and her kindness and understanding while teaching me the many rules of the game. Also a great travel mate when we went to Ireland. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. May God Bless.

I remember Mary Code very well because I grew up with her grandchildren, Debbie and Kevin in Thorncliffe. She always struck me as a kind and considerate person who always did what was best for everyone. I will remember her with fondness.

Mrs. Code was my grade 3 teacher. She garnered a lot of respect from her students and when Mrs. Code spoke, everyone listened. I am very sorry to hear of her passing, but please do know that she made a lasting impression and was a positive influence in the lives of many students.
