I will always treasure moments spent with Mary over these past 75 years (her mother baptized my sister Mary). She stopped over often in San Francisco and spent precious time. Also, many happy adolescent years together in Pennsylvania & Virginia.

Although we had not stayed in touch for many years, I thought about Mary many times, and recalled the pleasant memories we had, going back to our teenage years, along with my cousin, Nonie. She was a beautiful and fun-loving person, and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, sweet friend. Love, Mary.

I am heartbroken at the news of Mary's passing. She courageously met all of the tragedies and joys in her life with grace, wisdom and unwavering faith. She was a beautiful woman and welcoming soul.
