Mary Katherine Culbertson CASTLEWOOD, Va. Mary Katherine Culbertson, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at her home. She was born in Russell County, Va., daughter of the late William Ellery and Irene Garrett Adkisson. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Osborne. She is survived by one daughter, Beth Culbertson of Castlewood; six sisters, Ruby Marshall and husband, Luther of Castlewood, Pauline Mullins and husband, Frank of Chattanooga, Tenn., Betty Sproles of Abingdon, Va., Linda Meade and husband, Henry Wayne of Nickelsville, Va., Molly Wright and husband, Ricky of Castlewood, and Sally Cole of Abingdon; one brother, W.J. Adkisson and wife, Kay of Castlewood; ; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mary Katherine Culbertson will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood,with Rev. Henry Wayne Meade officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
