Curry, Mary Eva,
89 years of age died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at The Villages of Historic Silvercrest. Mary was born August 11, 1928 to the late Otto and Etta Kampschaefer and raised in Evansville, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Curry and sisters, Kay Edwards and Margaret Butler.
Survivors include her daughters, Jill Finn (Jerry), JoAnn Stewart (Linda); son, Jon Curry (Donna); grandchildren, Thomas E. Sonne, Jr., Christine Sonne Costello, Katherine Finn, Jerome Finn, Christopher Curry, Collin Curry, Colin Receveur, Ben Stewart, Brian Stewart; 7 great grandchildren.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at Silvercrest and Kindred Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mary during her stay.
A Reception of family and friends will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. A private burial of her ashes will take place later at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.

Jill, JoAnn, and Jon. We are so sorry for your great loss. She was a wonderful Aunt to both Don and I. She always had a ready smile and generous, loving heart. Intuitive too: she knew before I did that I was expecting way back in 1973. She will be missed and our own hearts grieve with you.
May the Peace that passes understanding be with you all.
