Lois M. Haggerty

Lois M. Haggerty, 94, formerly of Summerdale, PA and Millsboro, DE, passed peacefully Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Lois was born in Summerdale, PA daughter of the late Guy and Fannie (Lightner) Hull. She was a graduate of Enola High School Class of 1942. Lois retired from the PA Department of Labor and Industry. She was a life long member of Summerdale United Methodist Church. Lois enjoyed her life in Delaware, travelling, boating and cooking for family, and lived life to the fullest. Lois was preceded in death by beloved husband William, who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her daughters; Donna Sherrick, Kathy Shaner, and Patricia Kell (William), Grandchildren; Susan McKernan, Gregory Sherrick, Galen Shaner, Stephanie Bailey, Justin Kell, Jesse Kell, and Erin Kell. Great-Grandchildren; Shannon and Julia Mckernan, Sydnee and Nadia Sherrick, Maya, Willow, and Violet Bailey, Norton, Henry, and Camden Kell, and Amber Kenion.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central PA 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or Summerdale United Methodist Church, 203 2nd St., Summerdale, PA 17093.
