Mary was my mentor early in my 20+ counseling career. She was an amazingly bright, intelligent woman who cared deeply about school counseling programs in the treasure valley. There will never be anyone else like Mary Ensley. I am blessed to have worked with her and to have known her. RIP, Mary. The school counseling world has lost one of its best advocates.

Back in 1970 at CHS, Mrs. Mary Ensley, was one of my
favorite teachers. I will never forget her. She was so
kind and loving and cared about what you did.

When I was a little girl, my Aunt Mary was dazzling to me: stylish, beautiful, professional, funny, smart, competent, and talented at many things. She was very fun to be with and even until her later years, her wit never left her. Shortly before she died, she sent me and my husband a very encouraging and thoughtful email. I will miss her. She was just always "there" in my life.

Thank you Mary for being a champion for children and families in canyon county. You strived to provide counseling programs in every level from elementary to high schools. You helped district leadership to see the importance of mental health care for children. You helped us to see that ASCA was the foundation of each successful counseling program.
Thank you Mary for never giving up on your commitment.

Mary was knowledgeable, bright and competent! Mary believed that "all kids are our kids" and we as a community needed to surround each child with dependable, nuturing responsible people. She was "top shelf" to partner with.
A great lady!
