Mary Rose Etchingham (DeLucchi) 87, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on Monday September 4, 2023. Born September 29,1935 in Franklin, MA she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe DeLucchi and Lillian Trudeau. She was a proud Navy wife before pursuing a career as a bookkeeper. Mary was an avid gardener, cook, quilter, and crocheter. Mary created hundreds of beautiful items that will be loved by her family for years to come. Her heart and capacity to care for others was unparalleled. Family was everything to her and she loved making and sharing beautiful meals at their family home in North Kingstown.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Etchingham Jr. and is survived by her four children, John Etchingham, III (wife Lynn) of North Providence, Joseph Etchingham (wife Robin) of Warwick, Marianne Cooper (husband Tom ) of North Kingstown, and Maureen Mullen (husband Michael) of Denver. She also leaves several nieces and nephews; and many loving and wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond DeLucchi, of Virginia.

Services and burial will be private. Honoring Mary through a donation to the Rhode Island Food Bank is appreciated.
