I am so happy my baby girl got to meet you , Aunt Mary and Uncle Carl. You and Aunt Gwen are so much of a reflection of your mom, my "Grammy" who was one of the most important ladies in my life. You are going to be so missed. We will miss the many FaceTime calls and especially that infectious laugh. We love you so much.

How blessed I was to be your daughter´s best friend for so many years, and to call you my spiritual mama. Feisty, strong, kind, and very able, ( like your daughters) you invited me in as I was embraced by your whole family. You taught me to love Jesus and to read my Bible. As my Girl Scout leader, you taught me that I COULD- earn badges, sell cookies, light a fire, dig a latrine, raise a tent and sleep in the sand.
I have sung Girl Scout songs my whole life to my children and grandchildren.
You taught me not to take myself so seriously, because you laughed at yourself too. But in the laughter there was always a strong conviction behind everything you taught. I am a stronger woman today, because of you and yours. I am so grateful God knew I would need a second mama and I am so glad it was you. Thank you for loving me like Jesus.

I was privileged to meet Mary and am a friend of her daughter Karen. What a bright spark she was in this world....
