I will never forget the times we shared. I still have the necklace you gave to me; a lucky rabbits foot. I wish you had kept it.

Mary was a beautiful girl, and is a beautiful soul. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to share in her life. In the short time that I knew Mary, she touched me deeply. I will always remember her. Her smile is like sunshine. Janet Neel

We are so sorry to hear Mary has passed. She was a big part of my daughter's life (Erin Ward) while she lived in Mt. Washington, KY. Her bright smile and silliness are still memories I have of Erin and Mary when they were younger. Erin has several drawing that Mary did for her over the years and she will hold them dear forever. Erin still talked of Mary often and I know she will always have a place in her heart.

Walt, We are deeply sorry for the loss of Mary. We will always cherish the memories of her friendship with our daughter Heather. They were really great friends. Words can't express our sorrow for your loss, but here is a poem that was given to me after the loss of my sister gave great comfort.

The Ship
I am standing on the shore as a great ship gently glides
from the harbor and sails toward the horizon.
She is beautiful. Sails billowing; and shining bright as sunlight sparkling on distant waters. She grows smaller and smaller until at last, her white sails shine as ribbons out where the sky and water mingle as one.
And as I watch, a voice behind me says,
"Well, she's gone." She's gone. Gone? "No," I tell myself. No, she is not really gone. Not really. She is gone only in the sense that I can no longer see her. In reality, she is the same as ever; just as beautiful; just as shining. And deep in my heart I know, that on another shore someone is crying out,
"Look! Look everyone! Here she comes!" ~Author Unknown

We Can't Always Understand~
We can't always understand why this or that should be. The picture time is working out upon life's tapestry is hidden on the other side and no one can explain the meaning of the heartache and the anquish and the pain.
Perhaps we never shall be told. Perhaps we'll never know. Faith must be sufficient as upon our way we go; never asking why hopes turned to ashes, joy to tears....believing that beyond the little measure of the years, we shall see the reason for the thing we suffered here. The answer will be given and God's purpose made clear.
