If I could, I would write all the amazing things I heard everyone say at Mary's memorial service. It's almost impossible to say anything about her in only a few lines. But I must say this one thing:
Mary was a success at everything she did in life, but the best thing she did was love her husband, Robin. She may have been a stubborn red-head, but she would do anything for her husband, and he for her. They are a true example to all of us. Thank you Mary, for your friendship and for the example of your well lived life. None of us will ever forget you.

Mary, I've just returned home after being with so many of your friends at your memorial service. I hope you were listening last night as we sat by the fire and Holly Lyn sang the beautiful song she wrote for you. Your whole life was in that song and we could feel you there with us. Thank you for sharing the kindest heart with all of us. We will miss you till we cross paths again.

I am positive this the Mary I worked with in the late 70's or early 80's at Nacogdoches Floral and at that time she lived in Chireno. I think we both had different last names back then (mine was Pollard). Mary moved to Colorado and she wrote me several times inviting me to come visit and see the beautiful scenery. Mary was real and down to earth. She always spoke what she thought. you didn't chose Mary as your friend, she chose you, because there wasn't one thing that was fake about Mary. What you saw was what you got. Mary was such an intelligent woman, she had just a natural beauty, with her red hair and freckles and took so much pride in her work. I loved to be around her and I am very sorry that life separated us. I was so shocked and saddened by her passing, I thank God that I was able to meet Mary and call her my friend. MARY, I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
