Resident of San Jose
Born in Salinas, CA on 9/6/1936. Passed away peacefully at home on 4/23/2011, after a brief battle with cancer. Loving wife of 54 years to the late Bartolo B. Guillen. Survived by 4 children: Terri Torres, Cathy Garcia, Bart (Betty) Guillen & Tomas Guillen; 7 grandchildren: Marisa, Anthony & Gregory Torres, Erika (Dewayne) Zimmer, Veronica & Adam Garcia & Breanna Guillen; & 6 great-granchildren: Nicholas, Jessica, Vanessa, Anthony, Landon & Brody. Also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Mary will forever be in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 3:30pm at Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. 2nd St, San Jose.

My Dear Terri, Cathy, Bart and Buddy; I am so very sorry to hear your mom had passed away. I believe my Momma greated her at the pearly gates. I lost my beloved Momma on 3/23/11 one month after your Mom. I am so glad we stopped by last year (?) to say hello and do a little catch up. We were neighbors over 40 years ago and the memories of living across the street will forever be in my memory. The smell of your Momma's fresh tortillas every day... hummmm. She was so sweet to allow me to "test" the tortillas as they came of the stove hot and fresh. Both our Mommas are having coffee in heaven right now and catching up on the latest gossip. Love you all! Laura

Many memories were made and conversations shared in the kitchen of my Aunt's home while growing up. My Tia Mary had a heart of gold and she will be truly missed by all whose life she touched. I Love You Tia.... RIP
