Liz and I worked together at NASCAR. She had such an upbeat and positive presence and I enjoyed chatting with her. She made our office feel like home. She will be missed.

I have many wonderful memories of Liz. One that stands out and made us all laugh a lot: when we all went to the Melting Pot for dinner. Liz and her friend Annette were waiting on Donna and myself to arrive. My newly married husband was there at the bar... He had only met them once, but had met Liz several time -. Liz and Annette were waving, joking, and flirting trying to get his attention. For some reason, he didn't recognize them at first and told them he was married... holding his ring finger up. It was so funny! Also, getting a kick out of him timing his chicken to cook on his watch at the Melting Pot. They teased him for years about this! We laugh about this story! We always had a laugh every time we met on every occasion! I loved her stories. She was an incredible person. We loved everything about her! We love you all and send our deepest sympathies. Prayers during this time. - Brian and Mary

Liz was a true ray of sunshine. She always had a beautiful smile and a friendly greeting to all that she encountered. I was blessed to join Liz and 4 others in her home for a bible study for several years. What a host! Always a sweet treat waiting and delicious coffee. I was also blessed to be a member of the same women's circle with Liz at SJUMC. We would talk and laugh the entire drive to/from church. She was a genuine sister in Christ to me I will dearly miss her.
Till we meet again in heaven, Cathy Damm

Liz was a force of nature. But to really understand who she was you must keep in mind that she was a lot of things to a much bigger group of people. Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend. Wisdom comes with age. Knowing what to do in all situations is the reward. But there can be things that happen that can make the simplest thing a struggle. My Aunt Liz did her very best to face her struggles head on. So over the next couple of days please share with each other your favorite story of Liz and keep in mine just how and when she touched all of us by "Liz being Liz!!"

Her kindness and warmth, and how she openly welcomed my husband into her home for Christmas Eve when they worked together in NASCAR legal.

I loved her. She was a truly beautiful woman inside and out. I always joked with her about how she looked like Anne Murray. We lived close to Jim & Liz at one point in my life & was privileged enough to spend time with Liz & her family. I dont think anyone could find anything bad to say about her..she was that awesome & I will miss her. I take comfort knowing shes with my mom. They loved each other very much.

I worked at NASCAR with Mary. She was always happy and fun. I remember after she finished in the legal department she worked at the reception and I often went to spend a few moments in the day talking with her and laughing with her over jokes. I also spent some time with her doing IT related things for her home computer. I am so deeply sorry to hear she passed today. Prayers sent to Jim and her family for healing. Wish I could go but I am living back in England now.
