MARY HERALD Obituary
Age 86, of McCandless Twp., formerly of Monroeville, on Friday, March 18, 2016. Beloved wife for 59 years to Paul Herald; loving mother of Mary Mahinske (Ron), Kathleen, Paul, Patrick (Mary K.), Susanne and Timothy (Dana) Herald; grandmother of Mary Kate, Michael, Conor, Kelly, Elizabeth, Timothy and Katherine; sister of Thomas (Terry) Weis, Daniel (Mary Ann) Weis; sister-in-law of Margaret Weis and Rosemary Herald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Flaherty) Weis; and four brothers; and two sisters. Friends received SUNDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10418 Perry Hwy., Wexford. Funeral Mass Monday at 1 p.m. in St. Alexis Church, Wexford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, St. Louise Convent, 8200 McKnight Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Rd., Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090, whose staff provided excellent care to Mary in her last weeks.
