Mary was a good friend and we had some great times before her marriage to Jim, I was a brides maid in their wedding. I'm not surprised how much she had done. What a purpose filled life.

Dearest Mary, your legacy continues in your children and grandchildren, what a blessing. Thank you for helping me and countless others. You are a role model. Be blessed in Paradise. From another veteran that you helped, may your memory be for a blessing.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have been in Mary´s "orbit" for the last decade. We were neighbors, our front doors were only feet from each other.
Mary´s warmth made me feel like we were old friends when we moved into the neighborhood... I had just experienced the loss of my mom to an accident, I was new to Florida and my husband traveled for work. Mary was like an Angel who was watching over me. Her heart was big, compassionate and open. She was never too busy to check in when she knew I was alone. She had great stories to share. Her knowledge on a vast array of subjects never ceased to amaze me. Her energy was boundless when it came to giving of herself to help others. Mary was otherworldly in her accomplishments. A true force of nature. She will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
My deepest sympathy goes out to her lovely family.

I met Mary for the first time at a meeting of the Saturday Lunch Bunch with Malcolm Dubois, in the 1990's. It became quickly clear to me that she was one of the most intelligent humans, let alone one of the most intelligent women I had ever met.
As I got to know her, I learned that her heart was considerably more powerful than her head. Whenever we spoke it was always about ideas and usually big ones. It was not possible to not love her. She was a true and constant friend whose loyalty never wavered. I cannot replace her, I can't even try.
I shall miss her deeply.

Mary and I had many conversations over the years, and her giving heart and vision for Veterans allowed for retreats building self care and resiliency. The last memory I have with Mary is having lunch, discussing the changes and the future goals she had to offer more retreats. Most of our conversations were about faith and service- Mary I bet you see more now, than you ever could anticipate- You have always served God in helping those who will always appreciate your gifts! Thank you, your local Chaplain, Kim

Mary was a lady you didn't have to have known for a long time for her to have left an impression on you. I met her at the Renewal Coalition while running an organization serving veterans in Palm Beach County. Her passion was palpable, and it was clear she never stopped driving forward. She has done so much for our veterans and community. May she rest peacefully.

My CO had an event he requested volunteers for. At the time, I had no idea what it was. Mary and the renewal coalition shown me a new way to give back. To be honest, it was one of the first times I considered living in Florida. Over the years, I had been allowed to help others like myself get reacquainted with the civilian world. Mary made that possible. I can never repay enough her for the opportunity.

I met Mary when I was fitness instructor and manager of a small seniors fitness center in the Village of Tequesta. Mary was one of my first clients, and quickly took me under her wing as an adopted son. Not only did Mary become my mentor and adopted mother but she was my campaign manager when I ran for my first political office in the Village of Tequesta, a position deeply beneath her expertise but not beneath her heart.
"Mom" was always guiding and advising me in life, love and politics, and my greatest joy was when she was able to meet and hold my son. What a big bright smile she had on her face that day, a smile that could cast a shadow on the sun.
Our time together will live on with me mom. I love you, and I am a better person, man and father for having you in my life.

Your son

I met Mary 45 years ago in a small playground that had only one bench. She had brought Curry to play and I brought my daughter Marci. We have laughed our way through life ever since. My dear friend will be missed more than I can express. Hey Mary! Don´t forget who´s in charge!

It was a pleasure to meet and get to know Mary. She impacted so many people throughout her dynamic career. I witnessed the unwavering support for our nations hero´s and the incredible work she did to assist veterans and their families. We have lost a special person.
