Mary Lena Hooker

Springfield - Mary Lena (Randazzo) Hooker 89, of Springfield Oregon passed away on November 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born October 23, 1936 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Joseph & Mayme Randazzo.

Mary had 2 siblings, a brother Jim Randazzo (passed away in 2008) and sister Linda Romo of Garden Grove, California. Mary married Tommy Hooker in January of her senior year of high school in Corona, California. They were happily married for 67 years until his death in 2022. They had two children, son Tom Jr (Kathy) and daughter Terrie Streeter (Les) and two grandsons, Blake & Ethan Streeter.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Especially with the grandkids. Mary & Tom were bowlers for many years. They traveled to several states for tournaments. Mary was an avid gardener. She enjoyed growing flowers and had a vegetable garden every year. She could grow about anything but roses were her favorite.

Mary was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always put her family first. Holidays and birthdays were very special to her. Mary also leaves behind several close friends that she had for many years. She was a best friend to all and always there to help. Life won't be the same without her.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11 am at Waypoint Community Church. 332 58th Street in Springfield, Oregon.
