I met Mary when she came to our house for prayer meeting, I was 12. Mary took me to the dentist and we just bonded immediately and began to talk nightly. Mary (Hope) taught me about Jesus and she taught me how to pray. Hope was a constant source of strength and encouragement. She used to sing to me nightly, my favorite song was, He Is So Good To Me. When Mary (Hope) got sick it was then my privledge to call her and I would sing to her and Hope's favorite songs were, I'm A Winner Either Way, and I Got So Much To Thank Him For. We would laugh and talk about when we got to heaven we would not walk the Streets of Gold, but we would run them. Hope I love you more than words can say and I will miss you so much but this is not goodbye. So long my friend until we meet again and we run those Streets of Gold.

We love Sister Mary and Brother Humphrey. Loved to hear her sing at camp meeting and keep thinking about her singing around the throne "I love the thrill that I get when I get together with God's wonderful people". Sister Hope will be so missed. She could light up a room with just her smile and her sweet spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends.
