Was recently reminiscing about days gone by; including my nursing school years . Was shocked, if not mortified to see this sad news of Mary . Though time has passed ; I still feel the need to send my thoughts to Dan and her family . Mary was always the one who could make you smile with sincerity and ease. From study sessions , to South Park being chased by crazed turkeys, to graduation; so much love and fun .

I'm so sorry to see this and I will pray for the family. I haven't seen Mary in 30 years but I remember her like it was yesterday. Her friendship meant a lot too me and she was a truely wonderful and genuine person. The world is a lesser place with her loss

My sorrow is unbearable at the passing of my best friend Mary. I had the honor of being friends for the past 26 years. I will miss our talks and visits. We loved to laugh together and share nursing stories. She was the best nurse. I will miss her until we meet again

Mary was a wonderful person. I remember her positive outlook on life and how she would invite me to her home (when we were children) to share something wonderful her mom made or just to visit.
