So sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Mary Jo so many years ago before the Campbell's lived on Blueberry Lane. Always cheery Mary Jo had been a baton twirler for Battle Creek Central High School Band in the late 1950's. Ten years later I played percussion for the same high school band. Mary Jo loved band music and marching. She encouraged me to stay with music. It was so fun to hear her talk about marching with the Bearcat band when they marched thru downtown Battle Creek after a football victory. She played sports with her children and family friends. She was as good at sport as any of the guys. But most of all I really admired for being a strong loving mother through some very rough years. I say to you, her children, Dick, Pat, and Carol Lee, your mom is a wonderful person. She'll always be in our prayers.
