Mary Jo Donovan

So sad that none of the Ed menkhaus family were able to attend the funeral Mass for Mary Jo. I was on our way to Florida for the month of February. Angie was going to attend but the storm kept her home. She watched the live stream and said the Mass was a beautiful tribute to a much loved sister. With love and prayers from Karen Menkhaus

Oh, Donovan family, my heart breaks for you. I treasure closely the few moms in my life who have influenced me, inspired me, and who showed me the way. Mrs. Donovan ‘employed’ me to babysit for years starting when I was 12 or 13 and was one of the originals who showed me the way. She did it all the best way! Smart, kind, funny, welcoming to all. What a treasure. Gone too soon, but oh what a deep legacy of love she has left to cultivate. May peace eventually be yours. May memories be your rock. What a gem!!!!

Tim and Family - I am so sorry for your unexpected lost. My deepest and heartfelt condolences.

I have no words to express the sadness I'm feeling with the lost of Mary Jo. She was simply "good people". I know her family is devastated, they were so tight. My heart aches.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Mary Jo while away in Florida and unable to be there in person to extend my sympathy to Tim, Timmy and Chrissy and all her wonderful family. My thoughts and prayers will be for all of you as you try to deal with the grief that accompanies the loss of such a wonderful caring person! God Bless you all and give you His Grace in these days ahead!

So sorry for your loss. Mary Jo was one of the sweetest kindest person I knew.
Always had so much fun working with her at CYO ( we were the best).
The last few years we always saw
her at her grandkids sports games cheering them on!! Very proud grandma.
I’m sure she will be cheering them on from up above

When I think of Jo I think of loving, generous, giving, kindness and caring. Those words personified who she was. We are all better people for having had her in our lives. We will miss you lots thanks for the last 40+ years. THE EIGHTH GRADE MOMS.
