I only met my dear pen-friend, Mary Ann, twice in the 63 years we corresponded - in 1968 when I spent 3 weeks with her family in St Paul.and again in 1997 for a long weekend in Lake Stevens.
Such happy memories.
We got on so well and I feel I have lost one of my closest friends.
My love to all the family at this sad time.
