Mary Hunt Kosh “Kitty”, 84, of Wilmington, NC, died Monday, January 16, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on November 29, 1938 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Pat and Maudel Hunt. Also remembered is a son, John Alexander Kosh; a sister, Eleanor Carol Muns and a son-in-law, Jerry Mullins, all of who preceded her in death.
Surviving is her beloved husband of sixty-seven years, Frank Thomas Kosh, Sr. (married 7/16/1955); two sons, Frank Kosh, Jr. (Vickie) and Patrick Michael Kosh; one daughter, Angela Kosh Mullins; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Kosh and Clarissa Kosh; seven grandchildren, Erina Kosh, Valeria and Samantha Kosh, Cailey Clevenger (Ryan), Chandler Kosh, Tyler Kosh and Madison Kosh; and three great-grandchildren, Ariane Kosh, Sebastian Kosh and Quinn Clevenger.
Kitty was a lifelong resident of Wilmington. She was an avid bird watcher and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
