Mary Kocay

Mary Kocay (nee Kotelko) August 23, 1912 September 18, 2005 Mary Kocay (nee Kotelko), of Prud'homme, passed away at Cudworth Nursing Home on Sunday, September 18, 2005, at the age of 93 years. Mary is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Stella Shynkaruk of Kerrobert, SK; daughter-in-law, Marvel Kocay of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren, Karen Lauinger, Sheila Shynkaruk, Arley (Marcy) Shynkaruk, Darren Shynkaruk, Dean Kocay, Dennis Kocay, and Donna (Dwayne) Stankowski; greatgrandchildren, Corey (Donna) Lauinger and their daughter, Jayden, Shauna (Len) Chorney and their children, Reece and Paige, Brittney Shynkaruk, Tory and Kyle Shynkaruk, and Darren and Samantha Kocay: brother, Bill (Eleanor) Kotelko of Kelowna, BC; brother-in-law, Paul Carson; sister-in-law, Lena Kocay; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary joins in eternal peace her husband, Dan (1983); parents, John and Malinia (nee Labach) Kotelko; son, Nick Kocay; son-in-law, Peter Shynkaruk; granddaughter, Valerie Shynkaruk, three sisters, Dora Zaporzan, Anne Carson, and Olga Bukurak; and two brothers, Dan and Peter Kotelko. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. from Park Funeral Chapel (311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK). The Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from Borschiw Ukrainian Catholic Church (Borschiw, SK) celebrated by Rev. Fr. Andre Lalach and Archdeacon Ray Lalach. Interment will take place in the Borschiw Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Borschiw. SK. Arrangements entrusted to Greg Lalach of Park Funeral Chapel, 244-2103.
