LAMONT, Mary Dorothy (nee Mailloux) Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on April 28, 2007, at the age of 56 years. Devoted wife of Ernie Lamont for more than 37 yrs. Adored mother of Scott and wife Deanna Lamont, and Karie and husband Derek Gignac. Fun loving meme to Evan Gignac, Pierce, Rhyse, and Gryphin Lamont. Dear daughter of the late Bernard and Gloria Mailloux. Beloved sister to the late Gerald and William Mailloux, Charlene Golab, Marlene and husband Michael Furey, Kathleen and husband Lonnie Cowan, Lily and husband David Edwards, Janet and husband John Cowan, Marcy and husband Ron Krome, Bernard and wife Cheryl Mailloux. Mary will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. She had many health struggles through-out her life, but always found time and strength for the ones she loved. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, bingo with her sisters, and time spent with her grandchildren. Mary will be missed as she walks with the Angels. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Kanjeakal, staff of 4 west at Metropolitan Hospital, the nurses at Bayshore, and to Hospice. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. Karie Lynn and Scott, please accept my deepest condolences with respect to the loss of your wonderful mother. Mary had a personality that was larger than life itself and I know that she will be sadly missed by all who's lives she touched. The funniest memories that I have of your mother was when she would drag me out to bingo. Being a bingo novice, I would struggle to follow the play on one bingo card and this frustrated your mother to no end. She claimed that I only slowed her down because in addition to watching her own 15 cards +, she now had to watch my card also.

Although it has been many years since I have seen your mother, I have thought of her often.
