Mary Lou Gifford Hayslip Malone age 74 years of Portsmouth, Ohio went to be with her Savior on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Mrs. Malone was born on July 5, 1941 the daughter of the late Machen and Faye (Fite) Gifford in Adams County, Ohio. Besides her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; David Hayslip.
Survivors include; two daughters Pamela Dicks and husband Harold; Teresa Clark and husband Randy; one son Paul Hayslip all of Portsmouth, Ohio; one brother Robert Gifford and wife Estelle of Stout, Ohio; two sisters JoAnn Newsome and husband John of Blue Creek, Ohio; Wilma Johnson of McDermott, Ohio; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her dog Bailey.
Following cremation a memorial service will be held July 24, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Sunshine Ridge Church with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Sunshine Ridge Church.
The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
