MARY ANNE BAIRD, 85, of Cape May Court House NJ, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children and husband, on April 6, 2015. Mary Anne was born in Philadelphia on July 15, 1929. She was the second oldest of twelve children and graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School. Anyone who met Mary Anne would agree that she was a force of nature. She loved her seven children fiercely and never failed to be there when they needed her. After they were grown, she turned her intelligence and curiosity to many different pursuits, including studying human services, traveling internationally, and learning Italian and French. She was a wonderful cook with a beautiful singing voice and a great sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John J. McIntyre; her children, John Jr., Mary Anne, Ellen Catelli (Tony), Michael, Amy Kramer (Tom), Kevin, and Lynne McIntyre (Herb Caudill); 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at Maris Stella Main Church, 5012 Dune Drive, Avalon NJ (St. Brendan the Navigator Parish), on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11 A.M. Family and friends will be received at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice, c/o Development Office, 521 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley PA 19006.
