Kim and Kris,
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. After reading her obit, I see where the two of you get all your spunk. She really was her own boss and did what she wanted. No wonder she lived such a full life.
Hugs. Love,
Patty

"Mama Metheny" was my second mother, and I loved her very much. She was a great Girl Scout Leader and a great role model for me. I can remember many nights spent at her house as a preteen. I remember root beer floats, making hard Christmas candy, poking through her button tin, watching old Japanese horror flicks, and just sitting and talking on the couch. Most of all, I remember the love shared between her and "Uncle Dicky". They were a truly loving couple. The devotion they shared ended up being the ideal that I strove for in my own life. It wasn't anything they did, just the wonderful way they treated each other. Kim and Kris, I am so sorry for your loss, and I know you understand how blessed you were to have such great parents! My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Love, Janet
