Mary Miller Obituary
Mary was born in Armstrong Dec. 7, 1920, the daughter of George Meyerotto and wife Cora Pearl, nee Schifflet. She was married to George Miller and they spent many happy years together before his passing in 1987.
Mary enjoyed drawing and took art classes in Columbia. She handmade all of the cards she sent out, drawing on each of them. Mary was known as an old soul; she always took care of the elderly, even when she was very young. Mary had a love for cats, taking in any cat that would show up at her house. She was kind of a night owl, staying up late to watch David Letterman every night.
Mary is survived by her godson, Gary Witthaus and wife Shelly; one brother, Frederick "Bill" Meyerotto; one sister, Emogene Witthaus; other nieces and nephews; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Miller; parents, George and Cora Pearl Meyerotto; and one sister, Dolly Ordelheide.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at Walnut Hills Cemetery, Glasgow, Mo.
