Mary Paulette 'Polly' Monroe

BONNE TERRE – Mary Paulette "Polly" Monroe, age 77, of Bonne Terre passed away January 22, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born June 30, 1943, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to the late Lealand and Geraldine (Sitton) Hahn. Polly was known as an excellent chef traveling and working all over the United States. After retirement, she helped by donating services to local churches.

In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her sister, Lela Louis West of Park Hills.

Polly is survived by three children, Kelly Monroe of Bonne Terre, Melanie and husband Bo Hutchings of Jackson, and Robert "Jamie" Monroe of Bonne Terre; four grandchildren, Karley and husband Keith Pfaff of Imperial, Mary Logan Tripp, James Monroe, and Ryan Monroe; brother, James Hahn and wife Regina of Desloge and many other family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association. View obituary and share condolences online at www.czboyer.com.
