Mary always had encouraging words for me anytime I called. No matter if she was physically down, or not feeling her best she never let the call end without lifting me up. She would do anything to help you. Such a sweet woman. I'm going to miss her voice. I know she is up there keeping everyone busy
May our father continue to strengthen the Newell family at this time

I worked with Mary at AT&T and she wanted another couple to go on a cruise with (it was 2001) and I jumped at it because Mary was so fun and loving and me and my boyfriend at the time... Cliff had the best time EVER!!!! God needed a great Angel and she is it! Rest in peace. My thoughts & prayers go out to her family & friends.

In loving memory of my aunt Mary. To me, she is so similar to her brother and my dad James Reed, jr
It really is hard to say goodby to a loved one when they leave but I take comfort in knowing that she is free from her ailments.
She was such a lively person full of spark and love.
I have special memories of her that I will always cherish. During my first ever Vicksburg homecoming trip to Chicago, she showed us the best hospitality treatment and love at her home. It was great being around family and the feeling of belonging.
We would have great conversations. I would talk with her often about her corporate life and she shared many tips with me about networking, leadership, and goal settings.
One of my favorite times is when she would call me every year to let me know it was snowing. She thought it was funny that i didnt like the snow.
Aunt Mary rest in peace and keep that spark with you. Miss you and love you forever.
