Mary Margaret NORDLUND

I first met Mary in 1985 in her own beautiful backyard. Her home was always open to faculty and residents and many happy hours were spent in her welcoming, comfortable home at journal clubs and yearly parties.
Mary always made me feel as if our Dermatology Department was a warm family environment and how generous she was to all of us while working and raising an awesome family! May her memory ever be a blessing.

Words cannot express our sorrow for the loss of our beloved friend Mary. We were blessed to know her for the past 32 years. She was always an inspiration in her genuine care and friendship to us and everyone around her. She brightened our lives. Our deepest condolences to dear Jim, Christa, Michael and Margie and her extended family.

Although her passing brings great sorrow, remember the many happy and fulfilling times that she brought to everyone around her throughout her life. She was an exceptional practitioner of kindness and giving that made our world a better place. Mary was a wonderful role model as a professional woman, and also as a wife, mother and grandmother, readily embracing all of the young people coming through UC Dermatology as part of her extended family. She lived her life with grace, humility, compassion, generosity, and especially with a sense of joie de vivre.
She will be tremendously missed, but will continue to live on in our hearts. Mary, may the Lord bless you and keep you, and may you dance the streets of heaven and touch the face of God.
